 2003 Tempranillo...
most Australian grapes have their home in France. Tempranillo was our first choice red grape planted,as Mudgee closely resembles Rioja, Spain's most famous red region.  more

 2000 Cabernet Sauvignon
...
a medium bodied red, with capsicum, spice and berry characters. A cool wet year has created a softer style than the typical tannic & astringent Mudgee Cabernet for drinking in the short term to 5 years... more

2003 Cabernet Sauvignon.... Medium to full-bodied red with attractive spicy cassis and berry aromas with summer fruits and blckcurrant flavours on the palate. This makes for easy drinking now, and will age well and soften over the next 5 years.

2003 Gran Tinto..... a blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon. A crimson,    fuller-bodied blend, this wine has austere, dark chocolate, blackberry and cherry features. Drinking now, with excellent cellaring potential.
*** WINESTATE '05 Central NSW Tasting; *** WINESTATE '05 Italian/Spanish tasting.

2005 Rose... Raspberry and strawberry characters make this a dangerously juicy, easy wine to drink. Our previous Rose sold out in only 14 months. This is a very similar style...more

2003 Limited Release Semillon... harvested & bottled early to retain crisp, light, elegant straw, apple & citrus flavours. This firm crisp style goes well with grilled fish etc.in it's youth, but will fill out with a decade under it's belt into a rich nutty and honeyed gem... more

2003 Chardonnay... a worthy successor to the 2002 Trophy Chardonnay. Similar peachy and melon nose, with stone fruits/nectarine rich and creamy palate, and a firm toasty butterscotch finish. Drink now to 2007.... more

2003 Riesling... A variety much neglected in Mudgee. Floral and citrus blossom on the nose leads to a mandarin/tangerine palate with a touch of residual sweetness, finished with bracing acid. Not "sickly sweet" at all, but the fresh fruit flavours really match spicy Asian and Thai foods well. The first of an excellent 2002 crop... more

2003 Easter Semillon... a rich sweet dessert style. Boytritis infection in our Semillon block concentrated flavours, leaving fresh generous guava, apricot & pineapple characters. Yummy with fresh fruit or desserts and has won awards every time we show it. ***WINESTATE '05 Central NSW Tasting - Best sweet wine in class....... more
